1. Purposes of the processing of personal data

The use of our website is usually possible without providing personal data. Personal data, such as names, addresses or e-mail addresses are always provided on a voluntary basis if possible. 1.2. Newsletter/ AMP announcements

AMP operates newsletters on arts and culture (hereinafter referred to as “AMP announcements”), which are direct e-mailings of text and image press releases, sent maximum one time a day. With your consent you can subscribe to AMP announcements.

The only mandatory information for subscribing to AMP announcements is your e-mail address. The indication of further, separately marked data is voluntary and is used to be able to address you personally. In addition, we store your IP addresses and the time of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify a possible misuse of your personal data. We do not collect any further data in this context. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested AMP announcement.

You can revoke your consent to receive AMP announcements and unsubscribe at any time. You can cancel the subscription by clicking on the link provided in every AMP announcement,

1.3 Data processing for the fulfilment of legal obligations

In addition, we may process your data to fulfil legal obligations (e.g. regulatory requirements, commercial and tax storage and proof obligations).

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR, which permits processing for the fulfilment of a legal obligation.

2. Your personal data is transmitted encrypted. This applies to your communication data if you use our contact form and when registering for e-flux announcements. We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) coding system. Furthermore, we protect our websites and other systems through technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons.
3. Categories of receipt of personal data

Insofar as we make use of the services of third parties to carry out our services, we process personal data according to the provisions of the GDPR. Service providers who support us in providing our services to you are the it-service providers, hosting providers and e-mail service providers.

4. Duration of data storage

In principle, we delete your data as soon as it is no longer required for the above-mentioned purposes, unless temporary storage is still necessary. Thus we store your data on the basis of legal proof and storage obligations. In addition, we keep your data for the period during which claims can be asserted against our company (statutory limitation period of three or up to thirty years).
